Vilamoura Equestrian Champions Tour

Vilamoura again hosts the 2014 Equestrian Champions tour from the 25th of Sept to 19th October. This is one of the biggest show jumping events in Europe, attracting top riders from around the world. Total prize money this year is € 454,000.

Well known names in the equestrian world competing include Nick Skelton (GB Olympic Gold), Laura Kraut (USA Olympic Gold), Cecilie Hatteland (Norway) and Ben Maher (GB World No 3). Commentary will be led by Eamonn McGowen well known in the media with Ruth Mousdale unfortunately unable to attend.

The route to the ground is well signposted within Vilamoura but as a guide access is off roundabout Green 2 in between Victoria Boulevard and Kadoc
