Almond Blossom Cross Country Race Algarve today

The Almond Blossom Cross Country race or Internacional das Amendoeiras em Flor is an annual international cross country running competition taking place today in Açoteias near Albufeira in Algarve. The race gets its name from the white blossom which appears on the almond trees native to the region during the spring

343 runners from 48 participating clubs will take part the men’s race is 10km, the women’s is 7km starting at 10:00 Sunday 2nd Febuary

Last year’s men’s winner Andrea Lalli is hot favourite :
