Charity Golf Day Vila Sol Vilamoura
Vila Sol plays host to a charity golf day in aid of SOS Algarve Animals on Sunday the 1st December. This is the first in a series of events organised by Affinity Global Wealth supporting a range of local charities.
The entry fee is 70 euros and includes lunch. Its a 2 ball betterball with a 9am shotgun start. There are prizes for 1st and 2nd Individual winners, a team prize, plus prizes for longest drive, nearest the pin and a car for a hole in one. There is a table quiz at lunch with a prize and an auction after lunch.
SOS Algarve Animals are a charity helping abandoned animals of the Algarve. They help animals on the street, from shelters, from gypsy camps and many other places. Apparently Portugal is one of the worst countries in Europe for animal neglect and abandonment, the animals truly need their help.On average SOS Algarve Animals rehomes between 300 and 400 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens every year, as well as sterilizing approximately 600 dogs and cats every year. Even so, there is a never ending number of animals who still need help.
